"Committed to Growth, Dedicated to Learning"

AGTW Strengthens Capacity Through TYAN Training

On February 10 - February 12th, A Gentle Touch Works, Inc. (AGTW) representatives participated in a three-day Training & Technical Assistance Conference sponsored by the Texas Youth Action Network (TYAN).

This experience provided valuable insight into strengthening youth/adult partnerships while also equipping our leadership with practical tools to enhance organizational sustainability and growth.

Throughout the conference, we gained deeper understanding in:

Identifying and securing funding opportunities

Understanding what funders look for prior to grant submission

Strengthening grant writing strategies

Communicating impact effectively and speaking the language of funders

Building strong community partnerships

Leveraging collaboration with like-minded organizations

Developing sustainable fundraising strategies

The knowledge and connections gained during this training will directly support AGTW’s long-term vision, positioning our organization to better serve youth, families, and the broader community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to grow, learn, and strengthen our impact. AGTW remains committed to continuous improvement, strategic partnerships, and sustainable development as we move forward with purpose.
